Civil Design

We have the capacity to handle a broad spectrum of civil design projects from the smallest one lot subdivisions, to large scale greenfield residential subdivisions and everything in between.

​Our team also has over 20 years experience in the design of public infrastructure with the expertise to handle public road projects, water and sewage reticulation projects and stormwater management projects for reticulation, flood mitigation, WSUD or private schemes.

We have specialist skills and experience to delivery Local Government, State Government and Taswater projects with a long and successful record of delivering projects across these clients.

Project Management

​With qualified project managers on staff, we can manage the delivery of your project and can source additional resources for larger scale projects to ensure all constraints around time, quality and cost are met and progress is communicated to you, the client, in a scheduled and professional manner.

Contract Administration and Procurement

With experience in private and public procurement processes, we are able to provide a procurement strategy for almost any type of project.

We can provide procurement services in the preparation of technical or performance based tender specifications, documentation aligned with Australian Standards, managed assessment and tender outcome reporting or independent probity advice for your procurement processes.

We provide Superintendent services to a wide range of public and private clients and can offer independent services on your contract.

We can also assist with conflict resolution and contract performance matters.

Subdivisions - Design through to approvals and construction

We have the capability to take your subdivision proposal from concept, through planning approvals, engineering approvals and to construction.  We have a network of trusted construction partners who are pre-qualified for Council and Taswater works and we can provide the procurement and contract administration support to final completion.

Flood modelling and hydraulic analysis - Specialist reporting on flood risk and mitigation options

Through our partnership with Venant Solutions we are able to offer the highest level of service for specialist flood risk assessments, modelling and assessment of risk mitigation options.

We can assist with the preparation of flood reports for Council's for DA application conditions relating to the Stormwater Code, assist Council's in the preparation of detailed flood models to provide the necessary inputs to SSMP's, to model design solutions to localised flooding problems or any other application where the behaviour of flood water is required.

Insurance assessments - Causality assessment and reporting

The team at Sustainable Engineering Tas have been providing forensic engineering services for over 10 years.  If you have an issue with your property as a result of flood damage, impacts of building on adjacent property or any other issue that may involve an insurance claim, we can assist.

Feasibility Studies - Determining project viability and risk profile

Unsure if your project stacks up financially?  Want to know the potential risks?  Are there other solutions available?  We can assist in answering these questions and more.

We also review existing designs for construction feasibility and constructability to ensure risks are identified prior to construction and management strategies are developed.
